Junjie Chang

Visiting Doctoral Student

Junjie Chang is a visiting doctoral student under the supervision of Prof. Myles Allen and Dr. Matthew Ives in Oxford University's School of Geography and the Environment and the Post-Carbon Transition programme at the Oxford Martin School. His research focuses on energy economics and climate policy modelling, especially in climate risk assessment and Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs) modelling.

 

Junjie is currently also a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. Yi-Ming Wei in the Center for Energy & Environmental Policy Research (CEEP) and the Beijing Key Laboratory of Energy Economics and Environmental Management in Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT). He holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from BIT.

 

Over the past four years, he has participated in the research and development of the China Climate Change Integrated Assessment Model (C3IAM) - China’s first IAM with independent intellectual property rights. He is also leads the innovation project on “Intelligent modeling method for global temperature prediction and its application research based on big data”.
