Can Europe keep the lights on without Russia?

EU countries continue to send an estimated billion euros every day to Russia for oil and gas imports as they fail to impose a total energy embargo. Europe faces a choice: continue to pay Russia for energy and fund the war raging in Ukraine, threatening EU security, or find alternative ways to keep energy supplies flowing. So how can Europe keep the lights on without Russia?
